Strengthening Ties with Down Syndrome International

Jabulane Dikgale, Interim Chairperson of Inclusion Africa, attended the World Down Syndrome Congress on behalf of Inclusion Africa and Inclusion International.

The World Down Syndrome Congress took place in Chennai, India on 19-21 August 2015

The WDSC programme was organized around 5 themes:

• Social Awareness & Self Determination,
• Health,
• Education & Employment,
• Support System,
• Rights & the Law.

Speaking about supported Employment in South Africa, Jabulane was able to share positive examples of employment with participants, helping to build networks with other families and rights activities.
